What we process

• What you enter in the order and quote forms: name, company name, tax number or Turkish ID number, tax office, email address, phone number, delivery and billing address, and your order notes.
• Order details: the products you buy, amounts, payment notices and the order status.
• What you send us by email, phone or WhatsApp.
• Technical data: an irreversible digest derived from your IP address to prevent abuse of the forms (the address itself is not stored), and access logs kept by our hosting provider for security.

Why we process it, and on what legal basis

• To take your order, build, invoice and deliver your product, and to prepare a quote you asked for. Legal basis: entering into or performing a contract (KVKK art. 5/2-c).
• To keep invoices, accounts and tax records. Legal basis: legal obligation (KVKK art. 5/2-ç).
• To contact you about your order or request, and to provide after-sales support and warranty service. Legal basis: performing the contract and our legitimate interest (KVKK art. 5/2-c and f).
• To protect the site and its forms from automated and malicious use. Legal basis: our legitimate interest (KVKK art. 5/2-f).
• To exercise and defend our rights in a dispute. Legal basis: establishing, exercising or protecting a right (KVKK art. 5/2-e).

Marketing

We do not use your data for marketing emails, SMS or advertising, and we do not sell it. We only write to you about your order or request.

Who we share it with

• Carriers and freight companies: your name, phone number and delivery address, so they can deliver.
• Payment institutions and banks: card payments are processed directly by the licensed payment institution iyzico (İyzi Ödeme ve Elektronik Para Hizmetleri A.Ş.); we never see or store your card details. Bank transfers are handled by the banks.
• Invoicing and accounting providers: the e-invoicing software we issue invoices with, and our accountant.
• Infrastructure providers: the hosting service, the database and file storage service, and the email delivery service.
• Google reCAPTCHA: when you touch a form, your browser details and IP address are sent to Google to confirm the submission comes from a person.
• Competent public authorities, where the law requires it.

Transfers abroad

Some of our hosting, database and form-security providers also operate servers outside Türkiye. Your personal data may therefore be transferred abroad, subject to the safeguards in article 9 of the KVKK.

How long we keep it

We keep personal data for as long as the purpose requires and for the periods set by law. Order and invoice records are kept for 10 years under the Turkish Commercial Code and Tax Procedure Law. After that, we delete, destroy or anonymise the data.

Cookies and browser storage

• The site uses no advertising or tracking cookies.
• To measure how fast pages load, Vercel Speed Insights collects anonymous performance data, without cookies and without identifying you.
• Only one session cookie, needed for the site to work, remembers your language.
• Your cart, favourites, quote list and currency choice are kept only in your browser (local storage) and are not sent to us; only product codes and quantities are stored.
• Product videos load in YouTube’s privacy-enhanced mode, and only when you press play; until then your browser does not contact YouTube.
• Google reCAPTCHA loads only when you touch a form, and may use its own cookies.

Security

The site runs only over an encrypted connection (HTTPS/SSL). Only staff who need your data for their work can access it; the admin panel is protected by a password and secure sessions. Payment card details never pass through our systems.

Your rights under the KVKK

Under article 11 of the KVKK you may ask us:

• whether your personal data is processed, and for information about it if so,
• the purpose of the processing and whether the data is used accordingly,
• who it has been shared with, in Türkiye or abroad,
• to correct it if it is incomplete or wrong, to delete or destroy it once the reasons for processing no longer apply, and to notify those it was shared with,
• to object to a result against you that arises solely from automated analysis,
• for compensation if you suffer damage from unlawful processing.

How to apply

To exercise your rights, send your request with information that lets us verify your identity to info@kms.com.tr, or by signed letter to İkitelli OSB Mahallesi Eskoop Sanayi Sitesi C-3 Blok No:132 Başakşehir / İstanbul. We answer free of charge as soon as possible and within 30 days at the latest.

When we update this policy we publish the new text on this page and change the date at the top.
