KMS BR-300 Glass Drying & Polishing Machine

In cafés and bars, glasses are the equipment that turns over fastest. The time between a glass being washed and getting back on the shelf becomes waiting time at busy hours, and a glass dried by hand always risks water spots, limescale marks and lint. The KMS BR-300 glass drying machine does the job on the counter, without anyone touching the glass, drying and polishing up to 300 washed, wet glasses an hour.

At the heart of the machine are microfibre brushes that dry, polish and keep glasses hygienic. When a glass is set between the brushes, hot air from a 1,000 W heating element evaporates the water while the brushes polish the glass inside and out. The result is a glass with no fingerprints and no water spots, ready to go straight to service. Instead of polishing glass after glass with a cloth, staff spend their time making drinks and looking after guests.

Hand polishing has hidden costs too. Fine stemware gripped and twisted in a cloth breaks, and every broken glass is both a replacement cost and a hitch in service. Cloths used all day stay damp, and a damp cloth is a hygiene risk. By drying each glass between the brushes, the BR-300 reduces both problems and gives the same result on every glass.

The BR-300 is built for businesses with a moderate glass volume: cafés, coffee chains, bars, patisseries and mid-sized restaurants. Its compact stainless steel body weighs 30 kg, sits on the counter and runs on 220 V 50 Hz. The body is 304 grade stainless steel, so it stands up to the damp of a bar or kitchen without rusting.

The microfibre brushes are removable and washable, and can be replaced as they wear. Keeping the brushes clean day to day directly decides how hygienic the glasses are, and taking them out to wash is a matter of minutes. The machine is used for everyday service glassware such as tumblers, stemware and heavy-based glasses.
