KMS BR-600 Glass Drying & Polishing Machine

In fine-dining restaurants, hotel bars and cafés, the clarity of the glass in front of a guest is the first visual contact with the quality of the house. A glass carrying a fingerprint, a water spot or a thread of lint undermines even the best drink. The KMS BR-600 glass polishing machine dries and polishes washed, wet glasses without anyone touching them; with a capacity of up to 600 glasses an hour it is built for hotel bars, large restaurants and banqueting operations.

Polishing glasses by hand is slow and it is risky. Staff hold and turn each glass in a cloth; fine stemware breaks along the way, and a cloth, however clean, can leave lint and fibres behind. In the BR-600 the glass is set between microfibre brushes that dry, polish and keep it hygienic. Hot air from a 2,000 W heating element evaporates the water while the brushes polish the glass inside and out, leaving no water spots, no limescale marks and no fingerprints.

The BR-600’s 2,000 W element is twice the BR-300’s 1,000 W. The difference shows in a rush: the air temperature holds even at high throughput, so drying quality does not fall away at the peak of service. On weekend nights, at weddings and cocktail receptions and over breakfast buffets, whenever glass traffic climbs, it is the bartender’s and the floor team’s best help. Once the machine is polishing glasses, your staff can concentrate on taking orders, making drinks and looking after guests.

The microfibre brushes are removable and washable: take them out and clean them when they are dirty, and replace them as they wear. That keeps the machine’s hygiene in your own hands. It is used for everyday service glassware such as tumblers, stemware and heavy-based glasses. The body is 304 grade stainless steel, built for the damp, busy environment of a bar or kitchen. The machine measures 65 × 45 × 35 cm, weighs 45 kg and runs on 220 V 50 Hz, taking up a compact spot on the counter.
