KMS-3000 Countertop Cutlery Polishing Machine

Not every business has floor space for another machine. The KMS-3000 countertop cutlery polisher was designed for exactly that: at only 42 cm wide, its compact body sits directly on the counter and dries and polishes an average of 3,000 knives, forks and spoons an hour.

In a business serving a few hundred covers a day, cutlery is usually polished between services by someone with a cloth. It is slow, and every piece passes through a pair of hands. The KMS-3000 hands the job to a machine: washed cutlery goes in, and comes back out dry and polished, ready for service. At 3,000 pieces an hour it comfortably covers a small business’s busiest lunch and dinner services. Compact does not mean cut down. The KMS-3000 works on the same principle as the KMS-7000: plant-based, entirely natural corn-cob granules, kept warm by a 500 W heating element, take the moisture off the cutlery and polish its surface by friction. With no chemicals and no abrasive brushes, nothing gets scratched. It carries the same 8 W UV-C germicidal lamp as the larger models; according to the KMS catalogue, the UV lamp sterilises the granules and the cutlery and ensures 99% hygiene.

The machine measures 42 × 60 × 60 cm and weighs 45 kg. It runs on a 220 V 50 Hz supply and uses the same 500 W heating element as the larger models. The body is 304 grade stainless steel. It suits cafés, patisseries, boutique hotels, small restaurants and office canteens.
